Ride amidst our oak trees,
streams and ponds, pine stands,
pecan orchards and open fields.
Enjoy our 22 miles of trails! Ride twenty-two miles of trails through pine woods, along fields with seasoal crops, around wetlands and cypress bottoms, under a canopy of hundred plus year old oaks and pecan groves. When your group arrives at the Oak Shed on the J.L. Adams Farms with your horses early in the morning, Kip Davis will meet you at the gate and direct parking. After enjoying homemade sourdough cinnamon rolls and coffee, riders are ready to hit the trails with a map of paths or with a private guide.  Find your way back to the Oak Shed for a good ole’ country lunch.    During lunch you will have the option of being entertained with local stories by the owner, James Lee Adams, who was the Southeastern U.S. Farmer of the Year 2000-- or just relax.

After lunch, plan to continue riding the trails or arrange for a guided tour by Mark Glass, owner and operator of Georgia’s largest alligator foarm -- over 40,000 gators! Winding down in late afternoon, enjoy one of Sue Adams’ homemade desserts.

All of this is at the Oak Shed at Adams Farms, our rustic, indoor-outdoor (heated) recreation facility.

The manager of this ride will be our son-in-law, Kip Davis.  He can be reached at 229-336-8958(night) or James Lee Adams, Jr. 229-336-8298  with any questions or for reservations for large groups.
